How to Read a Boost Log
A boost log should be interpreted as a group of related signals, not as isolated values.
Identify the operating window
Start with pedal position, throttle, RPM, gear, and load. These channels establish driver demand and help identify the portion of the log that can be meaningfully compared.
Compare target and actual boost
When compatible target and actual channels exist, PullScan can calculate their measured difference. That difference is evidence, not a diagnosis by itself.
Add control context
Wastegate duty, throttle behavior, RPM movement, and repeated pulls provide context for boost response. If a target channel is unavailable, actual boost can still be reviewed for response, stability, and consistency without inventing a target.
